Getting started

Metal TV is a free, 24/7 live channel of metal music videos. There is nothing to install and no account needed to watch: open metaltv.live and the stream is already playing. Think of it as a TV channel for metal, leaning toward the underground.

Watching the channel

• Sound: the stream starts muted (browsers require this for autoplay). Click the big tap to unmute prompt over the video, or the speaker icon, to turn sound on.
• Fullscreen: use the fullscreen button in the player bar. In fullscreen, the band and now-playing details overlay the video; windowed, they sit in the panels beside it.
• Now playing: the left panel shows the band (photo/logo, country, genre, status); the right panel shows the song, album and release. Genre chips link to the band search.
• Up next: the schedule panel lists what is coming up and what just played.

Make it yours

You can steer what the channel plays toward the genres you like with the Genres picker, and with a free account you can follow bands and save tracks, join the live chat, and add bands and videos to the catalogue.

Promote your music or brand

Artists and labels can promote a song into rotation, and businesses can run an advertisement on the site. Both are paid and self-serve.
