What kind of metal do you play?

Can I choose which genres play?

How do I get my band on Metal TV?
If your band is on Metal Archives, create a free account and use the Submit Band link in the header, then paste your Metal Archives page. We look up your official videos on YouTube and add them to the rotation. It is a free way to reach new listeners.
My band is not on Metal Archives. Can I still add it?
Yes. Sign in, go to My Account then Bands and choose Add Band. You get your own profile page to fill in with a photo, logo, bio, country, genre and full discography, and you add a video for each track. Once it has an image and at least one song you can publish it and it joins the channel.
Can I add a music video for a song?
Yes. Signed in members can use the plus button on any track to suggest a YouTube video for it, for your own band or any band on Metal TV. Submissions are reviewed before they enter the rotation.
Is there a live chat?
Yes. A live chat runs under the player. Anyone can read along, and signed in members can post. Each member has a metal avatar or their country flag, which you can change in My Account.
Can I follow bands and save tracks?
Yes, with a free account. Use Follow Band on the band panel and Save Track under the current song to build your own list of the bands and tracks you discover on the channel.
Can I watch on my phone or TV?
Yes. The player works in any modern browser on phones, tablets, laptops and smart TVs, and you can go fullscreen for a lean back, big screen experience.
Why does the stream start without sound?
