Community Guidelines
Last updated: 28 June 2026 · Governing law: New Zealand
These guidelines cover everything you contribute to Metal TV: live chat, bands and videos you add, and any other submissions. They are part of our Terms of Service. The short version: keep it about the music, and be decent.
Do
- Be respectful to other viewers and artists.
- Add accurate band and video information, and only content you have the rights to share.
- Report anything that breaks these rules via the contact page.
Don't
- No harassment, bullying, threats, or hate speech targeting people based on who they are.
- No spam, scams, or repetitive self-promotion (use promotions and ads for that).
- No illegal content, or content that infringes someone else's copyright or trademarks.
- No explicit, shocking or NSFW imagery, and no impersonation of others.
- No posting other people's private information.
- Don't submit AI-generated bands; Metal TV is for real music.
Enforcement
We moderate at our discretion. We may edit or remove content, and warn, suspend or close accounts that break these rules, without notice where necessary. Serious or illegal behaviour may be reported to the relevant authorities.
