Terms of Service
Last updated: 28 June 2026 · Governing law: New Zealand
These terms are an agreement between you and Metal TV, operated by Trent Stewart ("we", "us"). By using metaltv.live you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
Eligibility & accounts
- You must be at least 16 to create an account.
- You are responsible for your account and for keeping your password secure. Provide accurate information and keep it current.
- We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.
Acceptable use
You agree to use Metal TV lawfully and to follow our Community Guidelines. Do not misuse the service, interfere with it, attempt to access it in unauthorised ways, or use it to infringe others' rights.
Your content
"Your content" means anything you submit: chat messages, bands and videos you add, images, and promotion or ad material. You keep ownership of your content, but you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, display, reproduce and broadcast it for the purpose of operating and promoting Metal TV. You confirm you have the rights to submit it and that it does not infringe anyone else's rights or break the law. We may remove content at our discretion.
Purchases
Paid promotions and advertisements are governed by our Advertising & Promotion Terms, including pricing, approval and refunds. Payments are processed by Stripe.
Intellectual property & third-party content
The Metal TV name, site and design are ours or our licensors'. Music videos and band information come from third parties and remain the property of their respective owners. If you believe content infringes your rights, see our Copyright / Takedown policy.
Disclaimers
Metal TV is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any particular content will be available at any time. To the extent permitted by law we exclude all implied warranties. Nothing in these terms limits rights you may have under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act or Fair Trading Act that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us (if any) in the 12 months before the claim.
Termination & changes
You may stop using the site and close your account at any time. We may modify or discontinue the service, and may update these terms; continued use after changes means you accept them. Material changes will be reflected in the "last updated" date.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand, and the New Zealand courts have non-exclusive jurisdiction.
