35 bands on Metal TV
Grindcore is metal at its most extreme and its most compact: blast beats, distorted riffs and songs that often last under a minute. Born in the UK in the mid-1980s with Napalm Death and Carcass, it mixes hardcore punk's urgency with death metal's brutality, and it has branched into goregrind, deathgrind and noise-drenched experiments.
Here are the grindcore bands on Metal TV. Short songs, maximum chaos. Watch their music videos, check their new releases and upcoming gigs, and see which grind bands are on this week's chart.
