Following the departures of three band members, Shaun Gier and Michael Nordeen amalgamated with the three remaining members of Conducting from the Grave (including original With Passion guitarist Jeff Morgan) at the beginning of 2006. Shaun was originally With Passion's guitarist (he was also in Conducting from the Grave for some time as a vocalist), but when the bands merged he became the vocalist to make way for the new members. He left the With Passion later in 2006 to be replaced by Fidel Campos. Michael Nordeen left in 2007, leaving no ever-present members in the band. They split up in August 2007, and Conducting from the Grave was reactivated. Their song "Trainwreck Orchestra" appears in the game Earache: Extreme Metal Racing.
