About
MD.45 was Dave Mustaine (from Megadeth) and Lee Ving's (from Fear, an LA punk-rock band) side-project. To get the strange name that the project went by, Mustaine and Ving each reversed their initials to form one part of the band name. Dave Mustaine's reversed are MD and Lee Ving's are VL, which the band mistakenly thought was 45 in Roman numerals, resulting in the name MD.45. The correct translation in Roman numerals is XLV. A remastered version of the album was released in 2004 where Dave Mustaine re-recorded the vocal parts himself due to the tapes containing Lee Ving's original vocal tracks being lost. Compilation appearances: - "Voices" on Off Road Tracks Vol. 1 (Metal Hammer, 1996) - "Hell's Motel" on The Corner Free Music Sampler September '96 (The Corner, 1996)
